NASA Woes

It seems every few years (a few months in this case) a member of the NASA family is involved in something that isn't good. We are all human. We make mistakes, we have faults, we laugh, we cry, we live, we die...we are once again stunned. We will get back up...and go on.

I did not know any of the persons involved...i've never even been to building 44. But it is quite possible that i've passed these people in the halls or stood in line behind them at the cafeteria.

This incident could not have been prevented with the current security in place at NASA. The only way that this may have been prevented is if every vehicle and every person is searched before entering the grounds. It would be impossible to search 15000 people...or however many work onsite. The current security that is in place is more than adequate.

It'll be interesting to see how things will change around work...

Finding Reason was supposed to have practice tonight. Ben got caught up in the lockdown and couldn't get out in a timely manner. We decided to cancel practice...that allowed me to visit with the Greens.

I have quite the busy day tomorrow. I hope that things won't be too disrupted by the woes of NASA.
