This morning was the shortest shift of the mission for me. The shuttle Discovery successfully docked to the station yesterday and the new truss segment was prepositioned for today's install. All this hard work was done by Molly and Lisa. Good job! This morning was another day of reviewing plans for the upcoming days. In less than 11 hours i'll be back on console. So, i hope to grab a good few hours of sleep this afternoon. I didn't get as much as i wanted yesterday, so i'm hoping to make up a little bit today.
After our shift this morning, some of the flight controllers hit IHOP for breakfast. Now, i'm tired and full...very condusive for getting good sleep. It's a bit odd to be going home when everyone else is coming from home...although it is quiet here...and sometimes having silence is welcomed.
