...At a higher altitude with flag unfurled
We reached the dizzy heights of that dreamed of world
Encumbered forever by desire and ambition
There's a hunger still unsatisfied...
I can't think of a more powerful lyric. These lyrics come from High Hopes off of the Division Bell album. I like this lyric so much, that i'll probably add it to my tagline on my work email. It essentially speaks of man's desire to continue to explore...and in the case of my business, continue to explore space.
Words that envoke imagination and vision.
What lyics inspire you?

I'm a big Floyd fan myself. I have always been fond of "Attics of My Life" by the Grateful Dead.
In the attics of my life
Full of cloudy dreams unreal
Full of tastes no tongue can know
And lights no eye can see
When there was no ear to hear
You sang to me
I have spent my life
Seeking all that's still unsung
Bent my ear to hear the tune
And closed my eyes to see
When there were no strings to play
You played to me
In the book of love's own dream
Where all the print is blood
Where all the pages are my days
And all my lights grow old
When I had no wings to fly
You flew to me
You
flew
to me
In the secret space of dreams
Where I dreaming lay amazed
When the secrets all are told
And the petals all unfold
When there was no dream of mine
You dreamed of me
I have a several songs that I think the lyrics really hit home. The most recent was when Kelly's dad passed away. Its a Blink 182 song "I miss you." At the time it was the best way I could think of to deal with the situation at hand. Even now, 2 years later, every time I hear it, I get taken back and reflect a little.
