Solo

Today, on this 51st anniversary of Cosmonautics day and 31st anniversary of the first Space Shuttle launch, I took 'my' airplane out for a solo flight. Everett won't be offended if I say 'my' airplane. He can do the same.

In fact it was my first solo flight in just over 10 years. I didn't stray too far from home though. In fact, all I wanted to achieve today was to practice some landings. It's something I want to have good control of before I start taking passengers.

It was a strange feeling to head out to the hangar and jump in your own airplane and go for a flight. I don't have to worry about getting it back at a certain time and I don't have to schedule it weeks in advance. I think I like this arrangement.
